Ons vir jou Suid-Africa. Located in Pretoria, the Voortrekker Monument celebrates the installation of the Afrikaner people in southern Africa who came "to bring the light of civilization". Each December 16, Victory Day of the Blood River battle against some 12 000 Zulu warriors (a sign of divine intervention ...), a ray of sunshine through the building and illuminates the cenotaph in memory of Pretorius and all the Afrikaners for the cause. The cenotaph we can read the words "We for Thee, South Africa".
